What this site collects
The only personal data this site actively collects is the email address you submit through the "The Business of Events" newsletter form. That address is used solely to send you the newsletter and is passed to our newsletter provider (Substack) to manage delivery and unsubscribes.
Third-party embeds
Some pages embed content hosted by third parties — LinkedIn posts and YouTube videos. When those embeds load, LinkedIn and YouTube (Google) may set their own cookies or collect data under their own privacy policies, independent of this site. We don't control that data collection.
What this site doesn't do
No advertising trackers. No data is sold or shared with third parties beyond what's needed to deliver the newsletter (Substack) and the embeds described above.
Your rights (including LGPD, Brazil)
If you're in Brazil, your data is also protected under the LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados). You can ask to see, correct, or delete any data associated with your email address, or simply unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter issue. To make a request, email [email protected].

If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will change to reflect it.
